Interchange Australia hosted two Open Days last week, the first at Springett House, the second at our Narellan Campus.
Thank you to all of the parents, carers, volunteers, supporters and school representatives that attended. Our clients thoroughly enjoyed interacting with everyone and participating in the various demonstrations throughout the events.
The Open Days were held to provide the community with a greater understanding of the services Interchange Australia provides under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) including Day Options, Peer Support, Short-Term Accommodation and the wide variety of evening classes we offer, including music, drama and art. The Open Days also featured an information session by our consultant, Amber Hall, on the how Interchange Australia focuses on delivering positive outcomes for its clients and tips on how to maximise your loved ones NDIS plan.
The demonstrations at both campuses are testament to the dedication of both our clients and our staff who work together to develop and enhance skills. At all of our events, the talents of our clients are on show and it is very pleasing to hear feedback about how all participants continue to learn new skills and how their self-confidence has increased.
Now is the perfect time to explore service providers if your loved one is about to finish high school. Interchange Australia provides post-school options for young people with a disability.
If you were unable to attend the Open Days or would like to learn more about the wide variety of services Interchange Australia delivers under the NDIS, please call one of our friendly and experienced consultants on 1300 112 334 or visit our website or facebook page.
