Interchange Australia is committed to providing a high standard of care guided by our values of communication, adaptability, reliability, empathy, safety, fairness, respect and teamwork. These values guide our actions to make decisions with the health, wellbeing, and safety of our clients, carers and staff being paramount. Our philosophy is to focus on the person to enable that person to live a quality life.

Our mission, backed by our values, is “To be an industry leader, delivering high quality, focused care to our clients, whilst providing a safe and nurturing environment to all staff”

Our Quality Management
Interchange Australia has a quality framework for managing and delivering services. We are governed by organisational policies and procedures as well as the NSW Disability Service Standards pertaining to people under 65 and the Aged Care Standards pertaining to people over 65. We provide clients and carers with a client handbook that covers a number of FAQ’s including changes and additions to service delivery, what they can expect as a client of Interchange Australia, their rights and responsibilities and how to provide feedback and comments about their service delivery. We always welcome feedback and use this information to continuously improve.

Our Staff

We have a great team of qualified staff who are experienced in providing care and support services. We match support staff abilities and personalities to clients’ requirements to ensure that we meet individual needs. All Interchange Australia staff have their Working with Children check, National Police Clearance, a current first aid certificate and receive ongoing training. We have an on call team available to manage services after hours and on weekends and public holidays.
