Sally loves attending the day program and she is such a pleasure to have, she brings all her happy vibes and radiates them to all.

Sally is one of the happiest people you will ever meet, loving everything about life and all it has to offer. Sally is a true inspiration to everyone at Interchange Australia, with her smile lighting up Lagoon House in Goulburn every single day.
Sally really enjoys reading with Imelda, the smaller reading group sizes make for a wonderful dynamic with lots of individual attention. Sally uses her communication device to answer yes or no questions and is learning to use sight cards as well as word and letter recognition.
Sally can often get quite cheeky at times showing her mischievous side, often laughing hysterically at other people’s mishaps, especially if a staff member drops something or trips.
Sally really enjoys getting involved with all the activities offered at Interchange Australia day programs, but in particular loves the pamper days having facials, massages, nails and hair done by staff – after which she loves to show off to everyone who walks in the door. Sally also loves all the chickens at Lagoon house, and happily sits with them feeding them and patting them while she enjoys the fresh air doing some gardening.
Sally really is a social butterfly, she loves to go out in the community. Being a Croker, she comes from a very large family in the area and knows many people when she heads downtown with support staff. Everyone stops to say hi to Sally and she responds with a lot of excitement!
Art coordinator Brad has really helped Sally develop her passion for art and now she can even use her hands to hold a paint brush, she is always incredibly proud of her art creations. But by far her most favourite program at Interchange is Music with Tim!!! Sally sees Tim come in the driveway and begins to scream with excitement, let’s just say we all know when Tim arrives for the day! During music Tim ensures he involves everyone individually and Sally loves this, she loves to feel included and loved by all around her.
