From playing the guitar to broadcasting her own radio show and volunteering with Camden Agricultural Show each year, from being a keen photographer to her lifelong passion in the equestrian ring. Lexi is a woman of many talents and full of ability!
Lexi started with Interchange Australia several years ago. When she came to join our programs one thing was for certain at the time and that was her love of horses. Through joining Interchange Lexi has now found an entire world of other interests which keep her very busy while still being heavily involved with her horses!
Lexi volunteers at both the Camden and Royal Easter show each year, she also is heavily involved in training horses with her family and has shown many in hand and is now looking to expand her knowledge and background through the Steps to Success program with Interchange Australia and complete her degree in Equine Studies. We are certain this talented young woman will go far in this field.
Lexi discovered her love of the arts when she joined Interchange Australia and found that Art in its various forms whether it be performing arts or visual arts has offered many therapeutic benefits along with self-expression. It goes without saying that this incredibly talented young woman excelled in just about everything she tried.
Lexi has held an exhibition for her photography which was a passion she has expanded upon through the Creative Creations program.
She is also currently learning to play the guitar, having regular lessons over the past two years with our music teacher Andy and more recently via Zoom with Tim, Lexi aims to make her debut as a solo guitarist at the 2022 RockCan concert and is also looking forward to performing at various other events with Interchange Australia as things open back up post COVID.
Lexi has also previously co-hosted a radio program at Music FM. An initiative available through interchange Australia to all enthusiastic young people with a keen interest in music!
Like many others Lexi is a wonderful example of the many wonderful things which can be achieved when you receive great supports.
