Meet our NDIS Team Leader Callie

I love the work that Interchange Australia do – especially the awesome activities that Participants have the opportunity to participate in. I think I was drawn to Interchange as the company philosophy ‘supporting you to live independently in your community’ resonates with me as I am passionate about ensuring people with disabilities and our older community have the same access and equal opportunity to engage as the rest of our community.

Meet Paul | A gentleman on all occasions, kind, friendly and quite the character

Paul comes from a large family with six other siblings, many nieces and nephews and he just loves spending time with them. With some living overseas and others living interstate, he hopes to one day be able to move to QLD where he can be closer to two of his brothers that he would love to see more often! For now he speaks with them regularly on the phone and looks forward to special occasions where he gets to see them in person.

Interchange Australia is my two loves together – Aged Care and Disability support | Meet Nectaria

My name is Nectaria and I am an Aged Care Consultant here at Interchange Australia. My role here at Interchange is coordinating services for our Aged Care Services – Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Home Care Packages. Home Care Packages involve Case Management. I bring care and supports to people to remain independent and live at home for as long as possible. This includes personal care, social support, domestic assistance, allied health, nursing and continence aid purchases, just to name a few examples.

The 5 Big Benefits of Creative Expression: Improvement of Mood | Boost Self-Esteem | Cognitive Function | Communication Skills & Social Life | Alleviates Stress & Anxiety|

The Arts (whether it be performing arts or creative arts) play an integral role as part of our Day Options program at Interchange Australia, the skills learned by our participants who take part in these programs coupled with the therapeutic benefits are instrumental in everyday life.

At Creative Creations we work with all forms of media throughout each year and encourage participants to experiment with using different techniques.

I Feel Very Fortunate to be Working at Interchange – Dianna’s Story

My name is Dianna and I work at the reception desk here at Interchange Australia. My role in reception is such a broad role it’s quite difficult to sum it up quickly. Kim and I work together in reception and I couldn’t imagine anyone better to share the role with. Our job is to be the physical face and voice at the Interchange Head office. We handle general enquiries, office needs, face-to-face reception enquiries, over the phone enquiries, general office support for other staff members, office event organisation, helping with any Support Worker enquiries and lots of other bits and pieces.

Cheftastics | A garden to plate approach, which teaches invaluable life skills.

At Interchange Australia our Day Options programs are based upon the key components which are aimed at improving participants’ quality of life.

Life & Learning | Education | Health & Wellness | Socialising & Leisure.

Cheftastics is a wonderful program held weekly across all Interchange Australia campuses which incorporates all of these key components.
